Frames

We make simple rebate and tray frames as standard in many variations with the option to vary

the depth, face & profile to your specification.

Frames can be supplied fully fitted with work ready to hang or supplied to you for fitting with the option to paint or stain as required.

We can offer a window or float mount option.

We stock 2mm clear float glass which we can cut to size for you.

Non-reflective glass is available to order, please ask for details.

We keep Pine & Tulipwood in stock for making our frame section.

Other timber is available to order.

Pine is a softwood and the cheaper of the two, may contain knots.

Tulipwood is a hardwood, pretty much knot free and takes paint very well.

Our Frames are made using only FCS or PEFC registered Quality Kiln dried timber which comes from certified 'chain of custody' sources, approved by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification and the Forest Stewardship Council ®, and conforms to strict guidelines on sustainability.

We make most of our Frames section from either Tulipwood (Poplar) or Pine (Scandinavian Redwood), which we keep in stock.

Other timbers are available to order in.

If you have an idea for a frame or you have seen a section you like, send us a photo or a drawing and we will if possible, make it up for you.

Various timbers are avaible as stated earlier but we keep Tulipwood & Pine in stock. Over the years we have made many different styles and supplied the finished frames or just the machined section for artists and framers to make themselves
